The Medusa. When Imaging of Cardiovascular Pathology Mimicking the Gorgo from the Greek Mythology
Abstract

A fifty-five-years old woman was admitted to the hospital with dyspnea, chest pain and superior vena cava syndrome. On physical examination, she appeared distressed. The blood pressure was 100/60mmHg, the respiratory rate 23 breaths per minute, the heart rate 110 beats per minute, and the body temperature 36.1°C. The jugular veins were dilated. The cardiac sounds were diminished. The 12 leads electrocardiogram showed sinus tachycardia with low QRS amplitude in precordial leads.
