Exercise Stress Echocardiography was Performed
Abstract

Exercise stress echocardiography in adults has a high sensitivity and Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is the most common genetic disorder of the myocardium with variable phenotypic expression. Current guidelines assign IB class of recommendations to exercise stress echocardiography (ESE) in symptomatic HCM patients without resting left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) obstruction, to detect hemodynamically important exercise-induced LVOT gradient (LVOTG) and mitral regurgitation (MR), Where only the patients who underwent surgery due to symptoms were included, the only independent predictor was exercise-induced symptoms.
